GB3ZP 23cm FM Voice Repeater

GB3ZP's aim was to encourage activity on the 23cm band in central, eastern and southern Essex. In contrast to most repeaters, it was located on a domestic site in Rettendon to the south of Chelmsford. Its callsign reflected that of the site owner, our former Chairman Mike Wheaton G4ZPE. Well established technology is used where possible, so it uses Mk3 CUL logic, Procom 6-cavity set diplexer and a Procom antenna.
